Mick here - Just to keep you informed about progress of the new album - number four. It's gonna be a long job so I thought a little info would help..

Tracks went down really well and we're now working on some post production and getting round to the final mix, down here at fabulous Rockfold Studio in the depths of the English countryside. Sounding great!

Recording finally begins in London tomorrow, 25 Feb. Bill, Mac, Bazz and myself all in one place and ready to rock! Whole album of brand new original material ready to go down.

Recording delayed until 2011 because of heavy schedules. Studio booking planned for February.

Full band rehearsals have now taken place in London. Sounds great! Recording dates to be arranged.

Latest.. songwriting sessions have progressed steadily over the last year although getting together is always difficult to organise. We now have the material to start rehearsing! KF4 is on its way..

Hi,
At the moment we're in the earliest stages.. just getting together when we can to write material. That means that either Bill trains it down to me in Surrey or I drive up to him in Twickenham. Then we eat a pizza, maybe have a glass of wine, listen to some blues albums and watch a Dion video, before it's time to leave and beat the rush hour to get home.
Hopefully somewhere along the line some new material gets written and demoed. I now have about nine titles very roughly bashed out on a hard disc recorder and there's some promising stuff there. At some point we hope to get the whole band together to run through the songs and take them to the next stage, and we're also thinking of putting down some Mick and Bill acoustic tracks.
Logistics are always a problem with KF, with Bazz living in Switzerland and Mac over in Wales. Both are also busy with their own bands and projects.. anyway, it will happen in its own time. Speak again soon..
